The Executive Director Peer Group (EDPG) is a community of practice that meets on a regular basis to learn and grow from one another in a supportive space.

Through personal experiences and from guest speakers, EDPG meetings are focused on professional development, sharing opportunities and finding creative solutions to common challenges.

Criteria for participation:

  • Participant holds the role of an Executive Director of a nonprofit or charity in Guelph Wellington.

For inquiries and support, contact Christine Oldfield, Executive Director at christine@PINnetwork.ca or by phone at (519) 822-0912 ext. 222.

Members tell us they appreciate EDPG because it gives them:
  1. Access to community expertise in an inexpensive format that respects a busy schedule
  2. The opportunity to build connections with peers and become part of a supportive network of professionals
  3. Access to a library of 'real world' shared resources and learnings to build personal and professional capacity
  4. The chance to work with peers and collaborate on sector wide issues and opportunities

"My experience with the network was very positive. The content covered in the monthly meetings was always very practical, and extremely relevant and frequently included valuable take home tools and concepts to assist those working in the sector. This is a peer group that goes above and beyond to plan meaningful topics, discussions and speakers to the benefit of all those involved and ultimately to the benefit of our volunteers, our organizations and our communities. Being involved in this group puts you at the table with a network of people who are wonderful at sharing ideas, solutions and support around some of our commonly shared challenges. I highly recommend the group.” – Kelly Schafer, Executive Director, Career Education Council
